Description
NIH Non-human Primate - Schedule of Pricing form Technical Evaluation Criteria SF1449 fillable template. NIH-Non Human Primate SOW NIH-Non Human Primate RFP solicitation Background The National Institutes of Health (NIH), Office of Research Services (ORS), Division of Veterinary Resources (DVR) is seeking qualified small business concerns, 8(a) small businesses, Woman-owned, small disadvantaged businesses, HUB Zone small businesses and Service-disabled Veteran small business concerns with the capabilities to fulfill this requirement. The intended procurement will be classified under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 112990, All Other Animal Production, with a size standard of $.75M. Purpose and Objectives The purpose of this requirement is to provide Non-human Primates to support the mission of the NIH. This contract will facilitate the efficient procurement of primates. Laboratory animals, including primates, are utilized in numerous research investigations conducted by the NIH intramural research program. These primates, of various breeds, must meet rigid specifications such as age, weight, health status, temperament, etc. Project requirements This requirement will facilitate the efficient procurement, testing and housing of nonhuman primates as detailed in the statement of work (SOW) which should meet the specifications as described herein to the National Institutes of Health, Office of Research Services, and Division of Veterinary Resources. Orders will be placed by the Project Officer or alternative project officer through the Delivery Order (DO) mechanism. The contractor shall provide and deliver the Primates as requested by individual orders which should meet the specifications that will be described in the delivery order. The Government estimates award of possibly six (6) multiple fixed priced, indefinite delivery type contracts under solicitation number NIHOD2015M90225. The resultant contract shall be for a period of one year commencing on or about November 1, 2015 and shall include four successive 12-month option periods. The closing date for receipt of all proposals is September 22, 2015 3pm EST. Hard copies of this solicitation will not be available. Interested firms are responsible for downloading copies of the solicitation and amendments and monitoring FedBizOpps.gov for updated information concerning solicitation number NIHOD2015M90225.
