- Sources Sought - Interpreting Services - Notice Sources Sought - Interpreting Services - Statement of Work Sources Sought - Interpreting Services N39040-15-T-XXX1 SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE. No solicitation is available. This notice is released pursuant to FAR 15.201e, Exchanges with Industry. Portsmouth Naval Shipyard (PNS) is seeking to identify sources capable of accomplishing a Firm Fixed Price contract for Interpreting Services for deaf employees of PNS. These services shall be performed at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard. The anticipated period of performance is one year commencing approximately two weeks after contract award. Interested sources will provide qualified personnel capable of performing the typical tasks identified by the attached Statement of Work (SOW). Interested parties must be able to provide qualified personnel for all aspects of the SOW. A notional estimate of assignments is provided in the SOW. Interested parties must be able to meet the entire estimate of assignments. The NAICS code for this requirement is 541930, Language services (e.g., interpretation, sign, translation). This sources sought is a market research tool being utilized to determine potential and eligible firms capable of providing these services. Therefore, all interested parties are encouraged to respond. In accordance with FAR 15.202e, responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Only responders who meet the following criteria should respond to this sources sought notice: •1. Meets specifications outlined in the attached document •2. Has an active CAGE Code with the Central Contractor Registration. •3. Does not appear on the Excluded Parties List Responses should include the following information: •1. Responder's contact information including company name. P.O.C. name, telephone number, fax number, email address, street address, CAGE, and TIN •2. Individual Qualifications and Certifications, including any potential subcontracting arrangements or partnerships •3. Previous Contracts Performed for Similar Scope of Work Questions regarding this announcement shall be submitted in writing by e-mail to Emily Bateman at emily.bateman@navy.mil, email address. Verbal questions will NOT be accepted. Questions will be answered by posting answers to the www.fbo.gov. The Government does not guarantee that questions received after 2 September 2015 will be answered.
