- This is not a solicitation. Please do not respond to this document. A solicitation will be issued under FN1405-15 containing all information required to submit an offer that will be considered for award. UNICOR intends to enter into one (1) base year with four (4) one year option years if exercised Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity Type Contract for systems furniture components and desk-based products. UNICOR Office Furniture Group has a contract requirement for systems furniture and desk-based products to satisfy new and existing customer requirements. UNICOR offers a combination of products and services in order to outfit the workspaces of Federal agencies. It is intended that customers will be able to pick many varieties of products that meet their needs. There are different furniture systems to fit different work types, office systems was based on the principles of space-saving benefits, durability, design options, and interchangeable components. Panel System, Monolithic Panels, Segmented Panels, Freestanding Desking, Benching, Privacy panels - Acoustical, tackable, frosted), Segmented Tiles - metal perforated, metal solid, fabric, glass, Worksurface - hanging, mounting options,ie. Legs cantilever options, Movable/Demountable Walls, Storage options - freestanding and panel mounted, Files/Bookcases/Storage Wood, Metal and Laminate ( 2, 3, 4 and 5 high, Overhead Storage Units - Metals, Woods and Laminates and miscellaneous Office Enhancements. Each offeror shall provide product that will complement UNICOR's existing systems componentry in addition to offering best selling systems offerings. Offerors are to propose their best selling systems components in the current commercial market and shall provide many choices for customer selection. Each offeror is to provide their own interpretation of systems furniture components based on your firms top sellers in the current market. All offerors shall submit a complete bill of material that includes vendor part number, description, quantity required, unit price and extended price of each component part. FPI's intention is to make multiple awards. Product is to be delivered FOB Destination to the following UNICOR location: UNICOR Federal Prison Industries Warehouse, Route 716, Ashland, KY 41102; UNICOR Federal Prison Industries, Interstate 81 and Route 901, Minersville, PA 17954 UNICOR may add other locations and products to the contract at later date through a modification to awarded contract(s). UNICOR, Office Furniture Group has obtained Bifma level ® certification for one product and is seeking certification for all other lines. To assist with BIFMA e3/level certification UNICOR is soliciting offerors that will provide components that will help OFG reach Level Certification to include but not limited to: Indoor Air Quality Certification; Recycled Content; Energy and Water Impacts. The period of performance is one base year with four one year option if exercised. BASE YEAR - April 1, 2016 through March 31, 2017 OPTION YEAR 1- April 1, 2017 through March 31, 2018 OPTION YEAR 2- April 1, 2018 through March 31, 2019 OPTION YEAR 3- April 1, 2019 through March 31, 2020 OPTION YEAR 4- April 1, 2020 through March 31, 2021 The period of performance may vary depending on actual award date but will not occur prior to April 1, 2016. Solicitation number is FN1405-15 and this solicitation is issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). Offers shall provide price break quantities for each item proposed. Offerors included in the competitive range will be required to submit a mockup. UNICOR will assemble a technical evaluation board to review all proposals in accordance with the evaluation factors listed in the solicitation document..
