Description

The Social Security Administration (SSA) intends to negotiate on a sole-source basis with Chicago Soft, Ltd., 1820 E. Edgewood Dr. Suite 103, Lakeland, FL., 33803 for MVS/Quick-Ref software 180 day transition licensing lease and maintenance. The authority for this acquisition is set forth in the Federal Acquisition Regulation FAR 13. The acquisition will be a sole source as described at FAR 13.106-1(b). Chicago Soft, Ltd is the only source known to the Government that sells the MVS/Quick-Ref software product and maintenance. The Government anticipates award of a single, firm-fixed price contract for one year. Written responses to this notice shall contain sufficient documentation to establish a bona fide capability to fulfill this requirement. This is not a request for quotation, and the Government does not intend to pay for information received. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. All questions and submissions in response to this notice must be submitted in writing by 12:00 pm, EST August 30, 2015 to Rick.Bolt@ssa.gov.
