- 15T0274_sol 15T0274_att N00164-15-T-0274 - PAINTING OF MCV SEMI TRACTOR AND TRAILER WITH PEDESTAL AND PALLET - PSC J017 - NAICS 811121 ISSUE DATE 26 AUG 2015 - CLOSING DATE 16 OCT 2015 - 2:00 PM Eastern Time Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane has a requirement for Painting of MILSTAR Communications Vehicle (MCV) Semi Tractor and Trailer with Pedestal and Pallet. The MCV Semi Tractor and Trailer with Pedestal and Pallet will be provided as Government Furnished Property (GFP). Estimated minimum paint bay size requirement is 50'. The MCV Tractor and Trailer with Pedestal and Pallet will be furnished within 2 business days of contract award. Delivery is required no later than 8 weeks after award. Deliveries under Option CLINs 0002-0004 will be 8 weeks after exercise of option. Wage Determination WD 05-2183 (Rev 16) applies as incorporated. Delivery requirements shall be F.O.B. Destination; inspection and acceptance occur at the destination. This requirement is 100% set-aside for small business. Performance of the services described herein must be completed within a 50 mile radius of NSWC Crane located at 300 Highway 361, Crane IN 47522-5001 due to the cost of transportation and security requirements associated with the GFP. Quotes that identify a place of performance beyond the stated radius will not be considered. Interested contractors are encouraged to complete a visual inspection of the MCV Tractor and Trailer prior to supplying a quotation. A visual inspection of the MCV Tractor and Trailer may be conducted on 8 October 2015 at NSWC Crane. Provide the following information to Matthew S. Summers, Contracting Officer by e-mail to matthew.s.summers@navy.mil on or before 1 October 2015 in order for a visitor pass to be requested for the inspection: Visitor Full Name Visitor Company City State Nationality (no foreign nationals will be permitted) If you possess a Government badge which allows access to NSWC Crane, please notify Matthew S. Summers by e-mail to matthew.s.summers@navy.mil of your intent to inspect the vehicle. Individuals not reporting to the Contracting Officer that they will do a visual inspection will not be allowed access to the vehicle. Contractors must be properly registered in the System for Award Management (SAM). Offerors may obtain information on SAM registration and annual confirmation requirements by calling 1-866-606-8220 or via the internet at https://www.sam.gov. This solicitation is being issued pursuant to the procedures at FAR 13.5. Synopsis exception FAR 5.202(a)(13) applies and solicitation N00164-15-T-0274 is hereby issued as an attachment hereto. All changes to the requirement that occur prior to the closing date will be posted via FedBizOpps. It is the responsibility of interested vendors to monitor the FedBizOpps site for amendments that may be issued to this solicitation. For changes made after the closing date, only those offerors that offer a proposal will be provided any changes/amendments and considered for future discussions and/or award.
