Description
Notice of Intent NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT: The Army Contracting Command (ACC) - Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG) Edgewood Division intends to solicit and negotiate with one source, Chemical Agent Monitoring Supply Company (CAMSCO) located at 6732 Maynard Road, Houston, TX 77041. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 334519 with a size standard of 500 Employees. Edgewood Chemical Biological Center has a requirement for the following supplies for use with their MINICAMs systems: NOx/HD pre-filter Teflon tubes and VGT Conversion Tubes.. These items are required to satisfy the Government's requirements for compatibility and tandem use of currently installed MINICAMs systems. The Government does not possess the technical data package (TDP) to the system or the required supplies in support of the system, The Government intends to establish a firm-fixed-price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract with three (3) one- year ordering periods. The Government has a requirement for up to 12,000 items per year/ordering period. The ordering period for this requirement will be: 30 September 2015 to 29 September 2018. The proposed effort will be solicited on the basis of other than full and open competition pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, any firm that believes it can meet the specifications above may give written notification to the point of contact below no later than 12:00 P.M., (EST) on 12 SEP 2015. Responses must be supported with clear and convincing evidence to clearly articulate the ability to provide the precise items outlined above. A request for documentation will not be considered an affirmative response. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
