- Description
- The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) intends to award a Sole Source Contract under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b) to ERI Economic Research Institute for a total of (5) proprietary licenses to ERI Professional Assessor series platform library database including quarterly updates. The Period of Performance for this requirement will be 09/01/2015 - 08/31/2016. This annual subscription will allow IRS compliance organizations to conduct an analysis of executive compensation across a valid sample of tax exempt organizations. This service will also provide IRS with information related to logical relations among various tax exempt organizations. The Exempt Organization (EO) Division of the Tax Exempt and Government Entities (TE/GE) organization is developing classification criteria for potential excess compensation cases. These proprietary licenses to ERI will allow the EO compliance organization to conduct an analysis of executive compensation across a valid sample of tax exempt organizations. This service will also provide EO with information related to logical relations among various tax exempt organizations. This NOTICE is NOT a Request for Quotation (RFQ) and no solicitation will be publicized. However, any contractor who believes they are capable of meeting the IRS requirement as stated herein may submit a response for consideration. The contractor must be an authorized re-seller of ERI Economic Research Institute. Responses to this posting must be submitted to the IRS Primary Point of Contact (POC) by the required due date. A determination not to compete the proposed Purchase Order based upon the responses is solely within the discretion of the Government. Written response to this NOTICE must be provided to this office electronically no later than August 31, 2015 by 12:00 PM, Eastern Time.
