- Description
- The National Aeronautical and Space Administration (NASA), Stennis Space Center, MS, is requesting information to identify possible sources to enter into multiple-award, 1 year, Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPAs) for the supply of high pressure vessels, quantity not to exceed 150. See specifics below. 500 ft3 total volume 10,000 psig rated American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) & National Board (NB) registered ASME Section VIII Div. 1, Rules for Construction of Pressure Vessels, Appendix 22, Integrally Forged Vessels National Board Inspection Code, NB-23 Skid mounted with manifold Clean Level 400 per NASA-RPT-STD-8070-001 Documentation- Fatigue life analysis, all test/inspection related documents, and ASME required documents (e.g. Material Test Report). This Request for Information (RFI) is issued for informational purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation or commit the government to award a contract now or in the future. Submitting information for this RFI is voluntary and participants will not be compensated. No solicitation exists; therefore, do not request a copy of the solicitation. If a solicitation is released it will be synopsized in FedBizOpps and on the NASA Acquisition Internet Service.It is the potential offerors responsibility to monitor these sites for the release of any solicitation or synopsis. Respondents to this RFI should describe their ability to meet and/or exceed the requirement. Respondents should address the following: 1. Your companys capability of providing high pressure vessels per above specifications. 2. Companys past experience in building similar high pressure vessels. How many and when. 3. Estimated timeframe for delivery after each BPA call. Responses should include the name and address of firm, size of business, whether they are large, small, small disadvantaged, 8(a), HUBZone, service-disabled veteran-owned, and/or woman-owned. This synopsis is for information and planning purposes and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government nor will the Government pay for information solicited. Respondents will not be notified of the results of the evaluation. Respondents deemed fully qualified will be considered in any resultant solicitation for the requirement. Electronic (e-mail) or paper copies should be submitted to the Stennis Space Center Office of Procurement.All copies must be clearly labeled Proprietary/Competition Sensitive if applicable on the cover sheets and on each applicable page. Proprietary/Competition Sensitive information will be protected from disclosure. Responses should be submitted no later than 3:00 pm CT, September 10, 2015.
