Description

1. Project 675-14-150: This is a Pre-solicitation announcement by the Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 8, Service Area Office-East, Orlando Florida. The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a qualified contractor to provide construction services for a construction project. The project is entitled "Renovate Laboratory and Radiology-Viera. The place of performance is the Viera Outpatient Clinic, located at 2900 Veterans Way, Viera FL 32940. 2. The Department of Veterans Affairs will select a qualified responsible Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) contractor to provide all labor, materials, supervision, materials tools, and equipment necessary to perform project 675-14-150. 3. General Project Requirements: This project requires construction services to renovate approximately 10,000 square feet in the C-Wing of the Viera Outpatient Clinic. The space is predominately in the Radiology and Laboratory Departments. 4. To all interested parties: It is anticipated that a Request for Proposals (RFP) will be issued on or about September 18, 2015. The Government contemplates the award of a Firm Fixed Price contract resulting from the solicitation. 5. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) for this procurement is 236220 Commercial and Institutional Building Construction. The size standard is $36.5 million. In accordance with VAAR 836.204, disclosure of the magnitude of this construction project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. 6. Details of all dates and events, including site visit will be available in the solicitation. Interested firms are advised that they are responsible for obtaining all solicitation documents and/or amendments to the solicitation. Therefore all interested firms should re-visit the Federal Business Opportunities website periodically to look for any updates or amendments. 7. This is a 100% Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Set Aside. Offerors must be registered in CCR (SAM) (https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/) and visible/certified in Vet Biz (www.vetbiz.gov) at time of submission of their firm's proposal in order to be considered. As a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Offeror, you are verifying your firm meets the status requirements of a SDVOSB concern as established by 38 CFR Part 74 and certifying your firm is eligible to receive an award per this notice. 8.
