Description

The purpose of this amendment is to extend the period of time the government has to respond to questions received FROM: 3 September 2015 TO: 8 September 2015, and to extend the solicitation due date FROM: 10 September 2015 TO: 15 September 2015. Eielson AFB, Alaska has a requirement to provide and install a wall guard/barrier able to encompass an Ice Rink area. Details can be found on the attached requirements document. This acquisition is being set aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) concerns and solicited IAW DFARS 219.502-2(a)(i) Total Set-Asides. The applicable North American Classification System (NAICS) code is 339920, with a small business size standard of 500 EMP. This contract will be Firm-Fixed Price (FFP). Potential offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation package, as no paper copies will be furnished. No bidder mailing list will be maintained. Potential offerors are encouraged to monitor www.fedbizopps.gov for any changes to the announcement or subsequent solicitation and postings. All offerors MUST be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database, which is available at https://www.sam.gov. Notice to Offeror(s)/Supplier(s): Funds are not presently available for this effort. No award will be made under this solicitation until funds are available. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date. In the event the Government cancels this solicitation, the Government has no obligation to reimburse an offeror for any costs. ALL QUESTIONS SHOULD BE SUBMITTED IN WRITING. QUESTIONS OVER THE TELEPHONE WILL NOT BE TAKEN. ALL QUESTIONS ARE DUE BY September 2, 2015 at 1:00PM ALASKA TIME. QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS WILL BE POSTED BY September 8, 2015 AT 5:00PM ALASKA TIME. NO ADDITIONAL QUESTIONS WILL BE ANSWERED AFTER September 8, 2015 AT 5:00PM ALASKA TIME.
