Item #0002 M/S Stereo Shotgun Microphone Professional TV Studio stereo shotgun microphone incorporates the Mid / Side (M/S) technique, yielding a high degree of directivity and focus while reproducing signals with extreme accuracy to their perspective placement, within the Left / Right Stereo field. 2 independent acoustic systems for generating the mid and side signals. The mid (M), or mono signal is generated using an internal shotgun microphone. The shotgun accurately reproduces audio with extreme focus, emphasizing pick up of signals at the direct-axis section (front). The shotgun also rejects signal at the off-axis sections (sides) of the microphone, minimizing noise and further strengthening the pick-up area. The Side (S), or stereo signal is generated using a separate, internal microphone system that features a figure-of-eight polar pattern. This system is responsible for reproducing the spacial character needed for accurate placement of signal within the stereo field. The output features a 5-pin XLR male connection, capable of sending the separate signals of each internal microphone system to discrete channels of a console, field mixer, recorder or matrixing system. Each internal microphone requires +48V phantom power, supplied via two battery power supply units, or any mixer capable of supplying at least 2 discrete channels of phantom power. M/S Technique Incorporates Dual Microphones. An internal shotgun microphone is used to capture the "mid" signal, a separate element with a figure-of-eight polar pattern is integrated for the "side" signal. Dual Channel Output 5-pin XLR male output is capable of sending signals of each internal microphone system to two discrete channels of a console, field mixer, recorder or matrixing system. Item #0012 Card Reader P2 Memory Drives High-speed 5-bay P2 drive, transferring video footage at 1Gbps and higher by utilizing the computers PCI Express bus. Specifically for use with non-linear editing systems, this drive can ingest all 5 P2 cards at once. When connected to either a MAC or PC the P2 cards will appear as one drive, making it extremely easy to browse through video footage. This direct-to-edit (DTE) approach saves time and money while eliminating cumbersome tape-based acquisition that can often lead to dropouts and time code errors. These MUST read the Panasonic P2 memory cards. Item #0013 Panasonic P2 Memory Cards P2 (P2 is a short form for "Professional Plug-In") is a professional digital recording solid-state memory storage media format introduced by Panasonic in 2004, and especially tailored to electronic news-gathering (ENG) applications. It features tapeless (non-linear) recording of DV, DVCPRO, DVCPRO25, DVCPRO50, DVCPRO-HD, or AVC-Intra streams on a solid-state PRO VIDEO flash memory. • Reading of up to 2.0 Gbps due to compliance with the UHS-II • SD memory card standard for high-speed data transfer. • Highly reliable design inherited from the P2 card with features like RAID technology and an error correction function. • CPS (Content Protection System) for password protection. • High bending and twisting strength (200% that of the SD standard). • Easy management with a QR code for unique identification, a writable memo area, and a • P2 card sized case. • A function that informs the user when it is time to replace the card. *Precautions When Using SDHC/SDXC Memory Cards with the AJ-P2AD1G Memory Card Adapter • Only the DV, DVCPRO, DVCPRO50, and AVC-Intra50 recording formats can be used when using the Memory Card Adapter on P2 Series products. Memory cards of Class 10 or higher are recommended, but recording may not be possible with some cards. • DVCPRO HD and AVC-intra100 cannot be used. • Memory card data capacity must be 4 GB or more and 128 GB or less. • Interval Rec, One-Shot Rec, Loop Rec, or One-Clip Rec cannot be used. • If the reading performance is insufficient during playback, frames might be skipped (Best-effort playback). • When copying clips that extend over two SDHC/SDXC memory cards onto another SDHC/SDXC memory card, the connecting relationship between the cards will not be saved. Under certain conditions, the connecting relationship between original and copied SDHC/SDXC memory cards is saved.
