Description

FLC Norfolk Contracting Department, Groton Office, CT intends to acquire services from the Navy Region Mid-Atlantic Fleet Readiness Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR) for the rental of the MWR Pier located at the Naval Submarine Base New London, Groton, CT, in support of the Coastal Riverine Squadron EIGHT (CRS-8), Newport, RI. The procurement is being processed through other than full and open competition pursuant to the statutory authority of FAR 13.106-1(1), only one responsible source and no other will satisfy agency requirements. The anticipated award date is 01 Oct 2015; this notice is not a request for quotes. A determination not to compete this procurement based on response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
