Description

This is a Sole Source Notice for commercial items prepared in accordance with the information in FAR Subpart 12.6, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures, as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE. This Sole Source Notice SHALL be posted in FEDBIZOPPS (www.fbo.gov). The solicitation number is N00244-15-T-0261. This solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 2005-83 and DFARS Change Notice 20150826. It is the responsibility of the contractor to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The clauses may be accessed in full text at these addresses: http://farsite.hill.af.mil/vffara.htm. The NAICS code is 511210 and the Small Business Size Standard is $38.5M. The proposed action is for SolidWorks software and maintenance, for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals or quotations received by 10 Sep 2015 will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Naval Supply Systems Command Fleet Logistics Center San Diego intends to award a firm-fixed price Purchase Order to GoEngineer, Inc., for the procurement of SolidWorks software and maintenance, per the attached Performance Work Statement for the Naval Facilities Engineering Command Engineering Expeditionary Warfare Center (NAVFAC EXWC).
