Description

This is a COBIMED SYNOPSIS/SOLICTIATION NOTICE - The Bay Pines VA Healthcare System (BPAHCS) has a requirement for two (2.0) FTE Board Certified Therapeutic Medical Physicists working on-site at the Bay Pines VA Medical Center, Monday - Friday providing Radiation Oncology Services. One (1) board certified therapeutic medical physicist provided shall be a serve as a Chief Therapeutic Medical Physicist to oversee all medical physics and dosimetry aspects in support of radiation oncology physics program at the medical center. And one (1) board certified therapeutic medical physicist will be provided to assist and support the chief therapeutic medical physicist in performing the requirements of the contract. Personnel assigned by the contractor to perform the services covered by this contract shall have a full and unrestricted license or professional certification in medical physics in a State, Territory or Commonwealth of the United States or the District of Columbia, and shall meet the professional qualifications criteria of VA. The solicitation will contain requirements for one 12-month base year and four (4) one (1) year option periods. The NAICS code assigned to this procurement will be 621399 with a size standard of $7.5 million. The solicitation is 100% small business set-aside. Offers will be evaluated on technical, past performance, socio-economic and price. Services are scheduled to begin on November 1, 2015 (or date of award).
