Description

REDACTED FOE Purpose of this modification program is to upgrade 178 C-130H2/H2.5/H3 aircraft with MXF-626K radios having 8.33 kHz channel spacing. The Contractor shall integrate the 8.33 kHz Radio System on the affected aircraft. The Contractor shall accomplish non-recurring engineering (NRE); provide an updated technical data package, Time Compliance Technical Order (TCTO), and technical data per the CDRLs. The Contractor shall accomplish 3-each Trial Installations and provide support to 3-each Government Verification Installations. The Contractor shall procure, assemble, and ship Group A and Group B kits per the requirements. Additionally, the Contractor shall design and deliver a solution to install the MXF-626K radios onto the aircraft MIL-STD-1553B Data Bus. The Contractor shall provide engineering and technical support during post installation flight and ground testing. The Contractor shall also prepare and deliver technical data updates to the Intermediate Level radio maintenance Technical Orders (TOs) in accordance with the Technical Manual Contract Requirements (TMCR).
