Description

This announcement constitutes a Sources Sought Notice to determine whether qualified and experienced sources are able to provide parachute systems and ancillary parachute supplies for the U.S. Navy Explosive Ordinance Disposal Training and Evaluation Unit TWO (EODTEU TWO) in Virginia Beach, Virginia based on compliance with: the U.S. Navy Office of the Chief of Naval Operations (OPNAV) Instruction 3501.225C for Navy Premeditated Personnel Parachuting and Cargo Airdrop Program, the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) Instruction 13512.1M for Premeditated Personnel Parachuting and Cargo Airdrop Equipment Authorized for Navy Use along with the attached list of parachute supplies, Attachment I. This is not a solicitation announcement for proposals and no contract will be awarded from this announcement. It is not to be construed in any way as a commitment by the Government, nor will the Government pay for the information submitted in response to this request for information. NAICS Code The NAICS Code for this requirement is 314999, All Other Miscellaneous Textile Product Mills, size standard of 500 Employees. Anticipated Contract The proposed contract action will be a single contract with Firm Fixed Price provisions. Package Submissions - No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement and any follow-up requests. Interested firms shall complete and submit the following information: (A) A document summary demonstrating the businesses capability to provide the parachute supplies described within Attachment I “ Parachute Supplies. (B) The organization ™s business size under NAICS 314999 (large business, small business, veteran-owned small business, service disabled veteran-owned small business, HUBZone small business, 8(a), small disadvantaged small business, and/or woman owned small business). Proprietary information submitted will be protected, when so designated. Any information received in response to this announcement will be used to determine the availability of interested sources that are qualified to provide the required core functional management support services. Written responses to this announcement are required and shall be sent to the following point of contact no later than 2:30 PM Norfolk, VA Local Time on 8 September 2015.
