- The Station/Wing Contracting Office, Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS), Cherry Point, NC 28533 hereby gives notice of their intent to award a purchase order to Energy Hippo LLC. (Cage Code: 7FWX0) on a sole source basis in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The Environmental Affairs Department, MCAS Cherry Point, NC has a requirement for Data management/reporting and System Maintenance/Sustainment of Accipiter radar. Market research has revealed this contractor is the only source capable of providing the required items. Therefore, the government intends to procure these supply on a sole source basis from the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) Accipiter Radar Corporation of the radar services. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. However, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which, if received within fifteen (15) calendar days after the date of the publication of this synopsis, will be considered. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses received as a result of this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
