Description
Synopsis for Compressed Gasses Solicitation for Compressed Gasses This Solicitation outlines an open market action that will result in a single, Firm-Fixed-Price Services Agreement for Compressed Gasses, both Helium and Argon in support of the Office of Forensic Toxicology Services (OFTS) utilizing the procedures set forth in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 - Commercial Items. The resulting contract will have a base period with four (4) option periods for a total of sixty (60) months for the Compressed Air Supplies listed below. Pursuant to FAR 17.205(a), the contracting officer has determined that inclusion of options in the solicitation and anticipated contract is in the best interest of the Government. The North American Industry Classification System Code is 325120. Contractor shall propose firm-fixed prices for the requirements listed below. Vendor shall include all labor and shipping and handling costs. PSA estimates 4 separate deliveries per year for the Helium and Argon Compressed Gasses together. Please include the shipping and handling cost into the unit prices evenly. Vendor shall remove any empty gas cylinders upon arrival to the laboratory that are marked for removal. Vendor shall now allow more than fifteen (15) compressed gas cylinders in PSA's possession before demurrage charges are applied. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following factors, listed in relative order of importance, shall be used to evaluate Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA).
