- This is a Sources Sought to locate additional sources for the Selected Spare Parts which are part of the Trailer Mounted Electric Power Plant III (EPP III) used with the PATRIOT Missile Defense System, NSNs: 6115-12-341-6789, 2920-12-345-5330, 5840-12-341-7003, 2815-12-341-6896, 6150-12-343-3736, 6150-12-343-3733, 6150-12-343-3737, 6150-12-343-3734, 6150-12-343-3731, 6150-12-343-3732, 6150-12-343-3738, 6150-12-343-3739, 3830-12-360-8066, 8130-12-358-4625, 5975-12-343-4086, 5975-12-343-4087, 5975-12-343-4088, 5975-12-343-4089, 5975-12-343-4090. The EPP III is the main electric power source for the PATRIOT Missile Defense System and the selected spare parts have been identified for maintenance and sustainment purposes. This acquisition is for a five-year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract. The forecast for each NSN ranges from 0-50 per year over five years. The current source for these selected spare parts is Lechmotoren GMBH, CAGE:D0857, in Altenstadt, Germany. Detailed technical data for the manufacture or acceptance of these items is not available from the Army. Suppliers capable of furnishing this unit must so indicate, by writing via email to alicia.ramsdell@dla.mil. The response must include production lead time, production capacity by month, surge capacity, number of years part will be available, ranges for price breaks if applicable or any other information that could affect the acquisition, supply and delivery of the parts. The response should also include documentation such as a copy of a purchase order if the supplier was a vendor to the listed source or a statement from listed source demonstrating that the supplier can, in fact, supply the Army with this unit from the supplier listed above. Successful supplier may be required to warrant that the item supplied will satisfactorily perform when used for the purpose intended by the Army.
