- This synopsis is notification that the Regional Contracting Office - Wiesbaden (RCO-W), on behalf of the HQ USAREUR Mission Support Element intends to solicit from and award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract, on a Sole Source basis under the authority of FAR 13.106, Only one responsible source, to: Motorola Solutions Am Borsigtum 130 65510 Idstein, Germany Motorola Solutions will provide a total of (10) APX 7000 multiband portable Motorola Radios for the Mission Support Element for it is compatible, reliable and secure communication within the existing Mission Command Center, Fire and Emergency Services agencies. The place of performance is: Attention: Mr. Adam J. Fick HQ USAREUR MCC Gebaude 1000 Flugplatz Erbenheim (Clay Kaserne) 65205 Wiesbaden, Germany This action will result in a Firm-Fixed Price contract. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 334220. This notice of intent to award a sole source contract is not a request for competitive quotes. There will be no solicitation available for competitive quotes. Phone calls will not be accepted. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. If no affirmative written response is received by 13:00 CET Germany on 11 Sept. 2015, the contract will be issued without further notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this contract is based on this notice and is solely within the discretion of the Government.
