- SRCE Save the Date and Call for Presentations notice and Presentation Proposal Form The U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Office of Cybersecurity and Communications (CS&C) Chief Technology Officer (CTO) is conducting the Secure and Resilient Cyber Ecosystem (SRCE) Industry Workshop as a follow up to the Enterprise Automated Security Environment Request For Information. The SRCE Workshop will be held on November 16-17, 2015, at the Georgia Tech Research Institute (GTRI) Conference Center in Atlanta, GA. The purpose of the SRCE Workshop is: • To promote technical exchange between Government and industry; • To identify solutions that achieve a secure and resilient cyber ecosystem; and • To promote solutions that align to the National Institute of Standards and Technology Cyber Security Framework. This event will feature plenary sessions on overarching themes, and breakout sessions to target smaller and more focused exchanges in formats ranging from presentations to panels to demonstrations. SRCE Workshop themes and topics of interests for presentations include but are not limited to: Assured communications; Authentication; Automation; Common data models; Frameworks; Information sharing; Interoperability; Open APIs; Orchestration; Policy; Protocols; Resilient communications; and Trust. Please see the attached Save the Date and Call for Presentations notice with additional information on how to submit a presentation proposal. WORKSHOP DATE AND LOCATION November 16-17, 2015 0800 - 1700 EST Georgia Technical Research Institute Conference Center 250 14th Street, NW Atlanta, GA 30318 REGISTRATION Advance registration is required and open to all interested parties. No walk-ins allowed. Space is limited to 220 attendees. All accepted presenters will be guaranteed admission but will need to register for the event. If registrations exceed available spaces, admission will be determined based on date and time of registration. In addition, DHS reserves the right to limit the number of attendees from each organization. As this is an UNCLASSIFIED event, submission of visit requests (security clearances) is not required. The registration site will be available on September 21, 2015 0900 EST at https://secwww.jhuapl.edu/SRCE-Workshop-2015/. DISCLAIMER The DHS CS&C Office of the Chief Technology Officer (OCTO) does not intend to issue a request for proposals, request for quotes, or follow up acquisition of any type. The OCTO will not assume liability for costs incurred by attendees or for preparations, travel expenses or marketing efforts; therefore, industry's expenses in response to this notice are not considered an allowable direct charge to the Government.
