Description

This Sources Sought Notice is for informational and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation or commitment by the Government at this time. This notice is intended strictly for market research purposes. The purpose of this Sources Sought notice is to determine interest and capability of firms relative to the North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) 339113 (Surgical and Medical Supplies). The Department of Veteran's Affairs is seeking manufacturers and/or distributors of functionally equivalent equipment to the Medtronic Model 5392 Temporary Pacemaker (EPG). The pacemaker operates with both single and dual chamber pacing capabilities and is designed for the stimulation of the heart in case of rhythm disturbances and conduction defects. Interested sources are requested to submit an email delineating qualification, capabilities, and experience for providing this or similar product. Please include your business size with your submittal. This is not a Request for Proposal or an announcement of a solicitation and no solicitation package exists at this time. Your responses will be used solely for market research purposes of the Government. The Government will not pay for any materials provided in response to this notice and submittals will not be returned to the sender. The applicable North American Classification System (NAICS) Code for this requirement is 339113 and the small business size standard is 500 Employees. Responses due are to be submitted by e-mail to Daniel.rasmussen@va.gov. The information requested must be received no later than 3:00 pm Central Standard Time on September 16th, 2015.
