- Responses are provided to the following vendor questions: 1. Question: This request requires a bit of calculation thus; The request specifically indicates a number of bars, and also an intensity to achieve. If this intensity can be achieved with fewer / more bars, is this acceptable? Response: This is acceptable if the light-field uniformity across the horizontal plane of the chamber is equivalent to that provided by the requested configuration. 2. Question: The request asks for intensity values with wavelength names only. Please provide the specific bandwidth that this intensity is required through? Response: Red: Peak 660 nm; Half-bandwidth 16 nm Far-red: Peak 735 nm; Half-bandwidth 40 nm Blue: Peak 450 nm; Half-bandwidth 22 nm White: 400-700 nm, Warm white LED spectral distribution 3. Question: The request asks for specific intensity values, but not distance is indicated. Please advise at what distance these values must be achieved? Response: 18 inches from light source. 4. Question: What is the total quantum intensity value required within PAR? Response: White light: 300 micromoles per meter squared per second. 5. Question: Does this light array require the ability to alter the RED / FAR-RED ratio? Response: Yes.
