- Description
- The Billings Area Indian Health Service (IHS), Wind River Service Unit (WRSU) at Fort Washakie and Arapahoe, Wyoming intends to award a sole-source contract with Century Link Telephone Company, 1801 California St. #5100 Denver CO. 80202-2651, for wired telecommunication service pursuant to the authority of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1), as implemented by FAR Part 6.302-1, 'Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.' Services to be provided include local and long distance wired telecommunication phone service. The purchase order shall be for the 2016 fiscal year; consisting of a 12 month period beginning on October 1, 2015 and ending on September 30, 2016. Any qualified business that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notice to the Contracting Officer by September 25, 2015 at 12:00 p.m. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with requirements listed. Also, provide specifics which determine that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct future competitive procurement actions. If no responses are received, the Government will proceed with the sole source acquisition with Century Link Telephone Company. All vendors are hereby notified that any responses received after the date and time specified in this notice, it will not be considered.
