- Single Source Justification Request for Quotation **Notice to Offeror(s)/Supplier(s): Funds are not presently available for this effort. No award will be made under this solicitation until funds are available. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date. In the event the Government cancels this solicitation, the Government has no obligation to reimburse an offeror for any costs. Offers must be valid as proposed until 30 September 2015.** Description: (i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested, and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) The solicitation number F3C3C35208AW01 is being issued as a request for quotation. (iii) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-83. (iv) This acquisition is 100 percent set aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334515 with a size standard not to exceed 500 employees. (v) CLIN 0001 - 1 EA - WIREXPERT 4500 Copper and Fiber Certification Kit WX4500-MMSM-FA (or approved equal). CLIN 0002 - 1000 EA - Leviton Atlas-X1 Mod, Blue Part # 61UJK-R19 CLIN 0003 - 1000 EA - Leviton Atlas-X1 CAT 6 UTP Connector Part # R1UJK-RL6 CLIN 0004 - 1000 EA - Leviton Atlas-X1 CAT 6 UTP Connector Part # R1UJK-RR6 (vi) If the requested cable and fiber tester is not provided, the approved equal must have the following minimum salient characteristics: 2,500 MHz Measurement Range Built in TDR Certified for all standards: Category 5e/6/6A and the new CAT 8 copper cabling Certification testing for MPO, SM, and MM Fiber optic cabling 1-2500 MHZ measurement frequency range See Attached Single Source Justification for the Leviton connectors. Substitutions will not be accepted. (vii) Place of delivery is Minot AFB, ND 58705 and is FOB destination. (viii) The provision 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. (ix) The provision 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items, applies to this procurement. The government will award a firm-fixed price contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible Offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the government, price and other factors considered. The other factors considered will be the ability to meet the salient characteristics of the items above. Award shall be based on best value to the government. (x) The government advises Offerors to include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items, with its offer. Offerors are also reminded to complete Offeror Representations and Certifications on-line at www.bpn.gov prior to submitting an offer. (xi) Clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition.
