Description
This is a Sources Sought Notice (a) The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this Sources Sought or to otherwise pay for the information solicited. (b) Although "proposal," "offeror," contractor, and "offeror" may be used in this sources sought notice, any response will be treated as information only. It shall not be used as a proposal. (c) Any information received from a contractor in response to this Sources Sought may be used in creating a solicitation. Any information received which is marked with a statement, such as "proprietary" or "confidential," intended to restrict distribution will not be distributed outside of the Government, except as required by law. (d) This Sources Sought is issued by the VA Hospital in Albany, NY for the purpose of collecting information about the Preventative Maintenance for Hill-Rom Totalcare Sp02rt ICU beds and one rotation module. The VA is seeking a preventative maintenance contract which will provide for all the specifications in the attached Statement of Work (11) Designed for therapeutic hypothermia (sudden cardiac arrests) and normathermia (treating SAH, controlling ICP levels, refractory fevers in the neuro population). (12) Data access USB, data storage. (13) Contract shall offer a customer service hotline, 24 hours, 7 days a week. (14) Provide on-site education and training of staff on the pharmacology of therapeutic hyper/hypothermia. (e) Contractors that are able to meet the requirements in the attachment are encouraged to email full information to Anthony Murray at Anthony.Murray2@va.gov. - Contractors shall identify the NAICS code for the product being offered as well as their size status under said NAICS. - Contractors shall also identify any Federal Supply Schedules that may carry the desired product. - Contractors shall include any relevant comments about the Attachment(s). Stratton VA Medical Center Albany, New York Request for Services - Statement of Work (SOW) HillRom TotalCare Bed Preventive Maintenance A.General Scope of Work: The Stratton VA Medical Center in Albany New York is requesting service to perform Preventative Maintenance on 10 Totalcare Sp02rt, Hill-Rom ICU beds and 1 rotation module. All labor and material will be furnished to accomplish completed repairs. The following are requested items. Contract will include base year + four 1-year options priced out. 1.2 Preventive Maintenance (PM) calls per bed per year 2.Ongoing user training. 3.Joint Commission and regulatory documentation. 4.All Hill-Rom genuine replacement parts. 5.Required Software updates. B.TotalCare Bed Specs: Hill-Rom SPO2RT Beds SER. F281AM3473 SER. F282AM3489 SER. F281AM3462 SER. F282AM3498 SER. F281AM3471 SER. F281AM3463 SER. F281AM3465 SER. F282AM3493 SER. F282AM3495 SER. F282AM3491 C.PM Services shall include but need not be limited to the following; 1.Cleaning of equipment. 2.Reviewing operating system software diagnostics to ensure that system is operating to the manufacturer's specifications. 3.Calibrating and lubricating the equipment. 4.Performing remedial maintenance of non-emergent nature. 5.Testing and replacing faulty and worn parts and/or parts which are likely to become faulty, fail or become worn. 6.Adjusting and calibrating as necessary 7.Inspecting electrical wiring and cables for wear and fraying. 8.Inspecting all mechanical components including, but not limited to patient restraints and support devices, chains, belts, bearings and tracks, interlocks, clutches, motors, mechanical integrity safety and performance. 9.Perform safety inspections which should include line cord ground wire resistance and leakage as specified in Conformance standards. 10.Returning the equipment to proper operating condition. D.Cost Estimate: N/A E.The following is required for this contract: 1.Licensed/certified hospital bed technician. F.Stratton VA Medical Center Resources and Guidance: 1)Drawings and information concerning existing conditions as required. 2)VA recommendations, as applicable including those for meeting security, safety, and infection control standards required. 3)Other project documents as applicable.
