- Description
- The Naval Sea Systems Command has a requirement to provide professional support services in the areas of Naval Shipyard Training and Education Program (NSTEP) Management. Support tasking's include, Leadership Development Programs, Training and Development of Project Management Teams, Deck Plate Coaching and Mentoring Programs, Environmental, Health, and Safety Programs for Naval Shipyards, and similar support to the broader SEA-04 maintenance enterprise such as forward deployed CVN maintenance at SRF Yokosuka Japan. This requirement is currently being satisfied by CACI under SeaPort Contract # N00178-04-D-4026 EH07 which is anticipated to expire by the end of February 2016. A follow-on competitive procurement is currently in process. In the interim between the expiration of the current contract and the award of the follow-on contract, which is expected to be awarded through full and open competition, this requirement is intended to be solicited from CACI. To fulfill the agency's requirements, this effort will be procured, without full and open competition, from the only qualified source capable of performing the work without incurring unacceptable schedule delays. The period of performance of the contemplated contract will be a six (6) month period from the expiration of the current contract until the award of the follow-on competitive contract, and is not expected to extend beyond August 2016.
