Description

Solicitation VA119A-15-Q-0295 is being reissued as a 100% Small Business set-aside under VA119A-15-Q-0307 as no response were received. This is a Combined Synopsis/Solicitation for Commercial Items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number VA119A-15-Q-0307 is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This solicitation is being conducted under FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) and in conjunction with FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. This combined synopsis/solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-83 dated 02 July 2015. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 561621- Security Systems Services. The Small Business size standard is $20.5 Million. The Product Service Code (PSC) is J063 - Alarm, Signal and Security Detection Systems. This procurement is 100% Small Business (SB) set-aside. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) intends to award a firm-fixed price contract. The period of performance is a 12-month base and four (4) 12-month option periods. Award will be based on the Technical Approach/Past Performance and Price. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Hines Information Technology Center (HITC) has a requirement for contractor to provide maintenance, repair, and emergency services for the Closed Circuit TV (CCTV), Paging and Music System, Video Intercom, and Guard Console for Vehicle and Pedestrian gates in Hines, Illinois.
