Description

This solicitation is being cancelled under FAR Part 14.401-1(c)(6) Cancellation of IFB after bid opening. Five (5) bids were received and all bids were at an unreasonable price. The government had funding in the amount of $249,800 and a maximum construction cost (MCC) of $312,500 for this project. The lowest bid received was $487,236, the second low was $590,475 and the highest bid was $653,763. The difference between the lowest bid an the government estimate is $237,436. The difference between the lowest bid and the MCC is $174,736. This solicitation is hereby cancelled and no award will be made at this time.
