Description

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to enter into sole source negotiations with BAE Systems Information and Electronic Systems Integration, Nashua, NH, to provide engineering and test support to integrate the Advanced Precision Kill Weapon System II (APKWS II) Rotary Wing Plus (RW+). NAVAIR intends to negotiate a Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee Order under Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00019-11-G-0015. This contract action will be issued on a sole-source basis to BAE Systems, the sole designer, developer, and manufacturer of the APKWS II. Unless otherwise stated herein, no formal request for proposal or additional written information is currently available. Request for the same will be disregarded. A determination by the Government not to compete is solely within the discretion of the Government. This synopsis is published for informative purposes (THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS). BAE Systems is the sole designer, developer, and manufacturer of APKWS, and as such, is the only known source available with the requisite technical knowledge, experience, and tooling to produce the requirements described herein to satisfy the Government's requirement. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for the supplies anticipated needed herein is 336414.
