Description

This is NOT a request for quote- USDA-ARS, Pullman, WA intends to award a sole source purchase order to Bruker Optics Inc., 19 Fortune Drive, Billerica, MA 01821 for a FT-Near Infared Spectrometer Matrix-1 with sample spinners, data system, software, calibration system, and installation. Bruker Optics has already performed sample testing for the Plant Intro Unit using this spectrometer. The results from this testing proved reliable and is being used for current research. In order to continue research and obtain consistent result the above mentioned spectrometer is requested and will ensure continuity of research. Our justification to award is in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1 – Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. All inquiries on this action can be submitted in writing via email to Brian.Fien@ars.usda.gov NO LATER THAN 24 September @ 4:00PM PST. All information shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government.
