- Dog Trainer Program Solicitation FY2016, FCI Waseca MN The Federal Correctional Institution, Waseca, Minnesota will be issuing a solicitation to obtain a Dog Trainer Certification Course. The contractor shall make available, on a non-discriminatory basis, Dog Trainer Certification Course services consistent with the requirements of the solicitation, the rules and procedures of the Federal Correctional Institution, and all applicable Federal and State laws and regulations in effect during the term of this contract. The manner and method in performing the tasks outlined in the statement of work are the sole responsibility and within the sole discretion of the contractor provided that the contractor shall perform in accordance with accepted professional standards and methods and the guidelines referenced above. Contractor shall provide Dog Trainer Certification Course sessions at the Federal Correctional Institution in Waseca Minnesota. The course will normally be held (1) session per day, (1) day per week between the hours of 12:00pm and 2:00pm. (1) session will be defined as two hours in length. Classes may be held on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, or Thursdays, excluding Federal Holidays. All scheduling will be approved by the Supervisor of Education. The period of performance shall be from the date of award through 12 months. Award is anticipated to be on or after October 7, 2015 based on the availability of funds. The solicitation will be available on or after September 23, 2015 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities web site http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation document will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. Faith-based and community-based organizations have the right to submit offers/bids equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible.
