Description
FA8538-AAI-RFI Package. Contractor Capability that must be completed and returned to MSgt Jeff Pruitt by Suspense date. THIS REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL OR PRESOLICITATION SYNOPSIS BUT RATHER A RFI PERTAINING TO C-130H Aircraft Airspeed Indicator (NSN 6610-01-444-0169LG), Air Data Computer (NSN (6610-01-443-8396LG) and Altitude Alerter (6340-01-445-0138LG) This RFI is being conducted to identify potential sources that may possess the expertise, capabilities, and experience to meet the repair requirements for qualification and production of the C-130H Airspeed Indicator, Air Data Computer and Altitude Alerter for use by United States Air Force (USAF). The level of security clearance and amount of foreign participation in this requirement has not been determined. The Air Force Material Command, AFMC Form 762, Contract Repair Screening Acquisition Worksheet Repair Method Code (RMC) and Repair Method Suffix Code (RMSC) for all listed items are R3D. RMC "R3" means repair for the second or subsequent time directly from the actual manufacturer. RMSC "D" means the data needed to compete contract repair is not physically available, it cannot be obtained economically, nor is it possible to draft adequate specifications or any other adequate, economical description of the repair for a competitive solicitation. No samples are available for potential supplier to evaluate due to carcass constraints. Contractor shall furnish all material, support equipment, tools, test equipment, and services. The Contractor is responsible for providing, maintaining and calibrating all support equipment required at their facility or a subcontractor's facility. Contractor furnished material or parts used for replacement shall equal or exceed the quality of the original material or parts. Contractors/Institutions responding to this market research are placed on notice that participation in this survey may not ensure participation in future solicitations or contract awards. The Government will not reimburse participants for any expenses associated with their participation in this survey.
