- Sources Sought Synopsis J065 Services This sources sought synopsis is being published for market research purposes only, to identify potential sources capable of providing specialized privacy curtains and support equipment. This is only a Sources Sought Synopsis and is not a Request for Proposals (RFP). No solicitation is being issued at this time and this notice shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract, nor does it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach. Any information provided by industry to the Government as a result of this sources sought synopsis is voluntary. Responses will not be returned. No entitlement to payment, direct or indirect costs or charges to the Government will arise as a result of contractor submission of responses for the Government's use of such information. The information obtained from industry's response to this notice may be used in the development of a possible acquisition strategy and potential RFP. Description 1. Introduction. Southern Regional Contracting Cell - Fort Gordon requires a maintenance and servicing contract that will upkeep their GSL RFID Cabinet solution in terms of hardware and software, along with on call services, while maintaining the systems manufacturer's warranty. 2. Generalized Scope of Work Contractor will be required to provide maintenance equipment via software support for the GSL Intellicab system along with hardware support to include on-call services. Furthermore, support will be required for auxiliary equipment related to the GSL Intellicab installation at Fort Rucker, AL. Service shall include all travel, labor, parts, and materials (excluding user consumable supplies). Services Include: Software Updates Telephone Support Servicing of Hardware 3. Base Access and Security Passes. The Contractor shall be responsible for obtaining all necessary cards, passes, badges, decals or other items required for access to the base or areas in which the work will be performed. The Contractor will be required to apply for vehicle and individual identification media at the entrance of Fort Rucker. Upon completion or termination of the contract, or an individual's employment on the project, the Contractor will retrieve the identification media issued above and surrender it to the Security Forces, Pass and ID on Fort Rucker. 4. SAMS registration. To be eligible for contract award or payment from any DOD activity, contractors must be registered in the DOD System for Award Management (SAM) and Wide Area Work Flow Receipt and Acceptance (WAWF-RA) websites. Information on SAM registration and annual confirmation requirements may be obtained by visiting the SAM website at http://www.sam.gov/. Information on WAWF-RA registration may be obtained by visiting the WAWF-RA website at http://wawf.eb.mil/. Contractors must also submit their representations and certifications via the SAM website. NAICS Code The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 811219-Medical and surgical equipment repair and maintenance services Responses to this synopsis will be used for market research only. The Government will not pay for any information submitted by respondents to this Sources Sought request. Contractors who believe they possess the desired expertise and experience should submit a Statement of Capability containing the above-referenced information to Mr. Isaac Hammond via email to Isaac.c.hammond.civ@mail.mil. Responses must be received no later than 12 p.m. 28 Sep 2015 (Eastern Standard Time). All documentation shall become the property of the Government. NOTE: E-mail submissions are subject to size and type restrictions (typically limited to no more than 1 Megabyte in size and only non-executable attachments such as.doc or.pdf files), as well as any other appropriate network security measures. It is the submitter's responsibility to verify the package was delivered or e-file was received and can be viewed. All responses must address each of the stated requirements.
