- Description
- Request For Information (RFI) This is a Request for Information (RFI) and not a solicitation. The United States Air Force (USAF) would like to investigate the feasibility of using a passive wideband phased array for multiple transmit and receive experiments. The antenna array must be 16 x 64 dual-pol elements. It must operate from 1 - 18 GHz with no grating lobes or scan blindness to at least +/- 60 degrees of scan angle in both principle planes. The array must have connectors for each polarization at every element, resulting in 2,048 connectors. The connectors should be press-on, to facilitate re-use with various back-end electronics. Possible connectors are BMA, BMMA, SMP, and SMPM.
