Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Northport VA Medical Center, Northport, NY, is soliciting quotes under solicitation number VA243-15-Q-1537 for the following item for its campus: The Government intends to award a Firm Fixed-Price Contract to provide all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to upgrade our existing Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) System for the Northport VA Medical Center by expanding full video surveillance throughout our tunnel (basement level) system. This includes requirements for the design, installation, and implementation of a new network system and video monitoring equipment that is fully compatible with the existing video monitoring system. This acquisition is 100% set aside for Small Businesses. The NAICS Code is 561621, Security System Services (except locksmith), Size Standard is $20.5 million. Questions pertaining to this solicitation must be sent by e-mail to: marshand.boone@va.gov no later than 9:00 am ET, September 28, 2015. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted. Questions received after the specified date and time will not be considered. The due date for proposals is September 29, 2015, at 11 AM EST. The Government intends to award a contract resulting from this solicitation using the evaluation method "Lowest Price Technically Acceptable." Prospective offerors must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) website and complete representations and certifications at https://www.sam.gov.
