Description

The US Coast Guard Helicopter Interdiction Tactical Squadron Jacksonville intends to award a contract for fiscal year 16 for boat slip rental and trailer storage with secure fenced parking adjacent to the ST. John River. The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with Doctors Lake Marina under the authority of FAR 6.302. Doctor Lake Marina is the closest and provides the most space of units needs. In addition, Doctor Lake Marina provides security fenced parking for trucks and trailers which is a requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be consider for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
