- The purpose of this announcement is to provide a status update to industry on the Traffic Flow Management 2 (TFM2) SIR/RFO. The FAA is revising the procurement schedule and expects to post more information in the near future, on or about October 12, 2015, including: Revised target dates for the TFM-2 procurement schedule to include RFO Release, Proposal Due, and Contract Award. Revised draft SIR/RFI Questions and Answers document (first posted on May 29, 2015) with changes marked to reflect current FAA position on several industry comments including: oProcess for Earned Value Management System (EVMS) Plan submission and approval according to AMS Clauses 1.13-1 & 2; oSubcontracting Goals according to AMS Clause 3.6.1-4 (i.e. goals expressed in terms of percentages of total planned subcontracting dollars); and oAdditional various draft TFM2 documents. The upcoming FAA Industry Technical Forum scheduled September 29-30, 2015 in Atlanta, GA, will not address the TFM2 procurement nor will any attending FAA personnel answer any TFM2 related questions.
