- Description
- Non Disclosure Agreement (NDA) THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. This is not a solicitation or Request for Quote/Proposal/Bid and no contract or purchase order will be awarded as a result of this notice. There is no solicitation or drawing available at this time. The Government is not obligated to and will not pay for any information received from potential sources as a result of this synopsis. The Military Sealift Command - Norfolk contracting office is seeking solutions to accomplish the approach and berthing of MSC vessels in the absence of adequate water depth. Approach and berthing includes providing a safe and adequate approach route, safe and secure berths, and mooring the vessel. The solution should not require the Government to expend additional effort or cost in comparison to accomplishing this effort at a facility with adequate water depth. Additionally, the solution should not hinder the accomplishment of other Work Items during an availability. An example of the current Work Item specification for approach and berthing is available by download from ARMDEC. To request access to the ARMDEC download, interested vendors shall complete the NDA attachment and return a copy to Mark Draluck at mark.draluck@navy.mil. All businesses including large businesses, Small businesses, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business, Certified HUBZone and Certified Section 8(a) Small Businesses are encouraged to respond. This is a market research tool used to determine the practicality and alternatives of this Work Item. RESPONSES ARE DUE by 9 October 2015 at 4:00 PM Eastern Time. Responses shall be sent via mail to the following address: Military Sealift Command (MSC), Code N104-1 (Attn: Mark Draluck), 471 East C Street, Norfolk, VA 23511.
