Description

PNNL is developing a suite of software that will operate in High Performance Computing (HPC) environments. This software is Government Owned Technical Software (GOTS) and implements multiple PNNL patents in the HPC domain. PNNL seeks software engineering, development and testing services to advance the technical readiness levels of these applications. This includes services for software testing, API design & programming, and, where necessary, application software development or refactoring to increase software stability and performance. Activities will also include creation of user and design documentation and software test suites suitable for use by 3rd party implementers and users. The provider must have demonstrated experience with programming in HPC environments, and have personnel proficient in programming C++ applications in these environments. The provider will work directly with the research scientists that have developed the software to date to recommend changes that will improve overall software reliability and performance. The provider will then implement portions of those changes as prioritized by the PNNL technical leadership.
