- Description
- Answers to questions submitted: Question #1: The vendor for the material is stating that for spec CT-1000-K19, the longest length they can make is 3.00". The drawing is 6.125". The vendor is recommending spec CT-1000-K26. Can you please check with the engineer if this is acceptable? Answer: The vendor did not indicate that length was a problem. The drawing indicated CT-1000-K19 or higher. K19 was the lowest strength available in CT-1000 series. Question #2: The diameters listed in Drawing Zone C-2, have fairly big tolerances (i.e. 1.695 +/-0.005), but the perpendicularity to Datum A has a "0" tolerance. Just want to make sure this is what the engineer intended. Answer: The tolerancing on the drawing is done as the engineer intended.
