Description

The VA will be hosting the National Veteran's Small Business Engagement November 17-19, 2015. The Engagement will be held primarily in the David L. Lawrence Convention Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The focus of this year's Engagement is ACCESS: Advocate, Create, Commit, Expand, Strengthen, and Sustain. Attending the Engagement will allow small businesses to build relationships with potential customers and business partners, maximize opportunities to compete for and win contracts, and demonstrate capability to meet customer requirements. The Engagement has been specifically tailored to enable procurement ready Veteran-Owned small businesses (VOSBs) to discuss potential opportunities directly with a large number of Procurement Decision Makers (staff members who determine & define what is needed to buy within their program area) from both federal and commercial sectors. These opportunities will provide the ACCESS that is vital to successful business development. Based on last year's numbers, we can expect approximately 3,000 attendees this year with 2,000 of those being Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (VOSBs). This will yield excellent exposure for both commercial and Government officials alike. Additional information can be found at www.nvsbe.com
