- STATEMENT OF WORK Seeking Small or Large Business which can meet minimum requirements as per SOR below for Wichita, KS VAMC. ***NOTE: THIS IS ONLY FOR SOURCES SOUGHT NO AWARD WILL BE MADE FROM THIS POSTING*** Please respond to email: donald.hannah@va.gov by close date. The contractor shall provide at minimum salient characteristics as stated below: STATEMENT OF REQUIREMENTS The Wichita, KS VAMC, is requesting vendors to provide the following items as below for standardization for GIP. The Wichita VA Cardiovascular Lab requires drug coated balloons shall be FDA approved for use in the superficial femoral and popliteal arteries. The drug coated balloon shall be coated with paclitaxel, with a drug dose density of 3.5 micrograms of paclitaxel per square millimeter of the expanded balloon surface. The balloons should be able to go over a.035 guide wire and the catheter shaft lengths should come in lengths of 80cm and 130cm. The expectant that holds the paclitaxel onto the balloon should be urea which is hydrophilic naturally produced in the body, and non-toxic. Any information submitted by an offeror for consideration will not be returned and will remain the property of the VA. All costs associated with submitting the above are the responsibility of the Contractor and all information provided must be submitted to the Contracting Officer.
