This Sources Sought Notice is published for market research purposes only. The Government will neither award a contract solely on the basis of this Sources Sought Synopsis, nor will it reimburse the respondent for any costs associated with preparing or submitting a response to this notice. This synopsis does not constitute a Request for Quotation (RFQ), Request for Proposal (RFP) or an Invitation for Bid (IFB), nor does this issuance restrict the Government s acquisition approach. The Government reserves the right to reject in whole or in part any industry input as a result of this announcement. The Government recognizes that proprietary data may be a part of your submittal. If so, clearly mark such restricted or proprietary data and present it as an addendum to the non-restricted/nonproprietary information. No materials or information received from this notice shall be returned to the sender. Sources responding to this notice should email their contact information, CAGE Code, and any descriptive information regarding their ability to provide the described item to the contact named above. In the eventuality that a solicitation is issued, offerors or their distributors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/ and Wide Area Workflow (WAWF) https://wawf.eb.mil to be considered a Responsible Offeror and be eligible for award. The Marine Corps Logistics Command, Contracts Dept. (S1940) Albany, GA is conducting market research and seeking to identify potential sources for the item described below. NOTE: This inquiring Activity is specifically interested in determining if there are Commercial- Off-The-Shelf (COTS) products that meet the UL 142 and ULC-S601-07 certifications along with the additional specifications below. Specifications Style: Double Wall Heavy Gage Steel Tank (10 Gage minimum) Durable painted or powder coating resistant to chipping, rust and corrosion Size: Approximately 250 gal. Large diameter fill hole with lockable hatch and debris screen, with secondary and vent openings Individual ports and tank exterior labeled for easy identification Rectangular Box Shape (W/Fork Lift Tubes/Slots) Industry Standard Tank Certifications if applicable: UL 142 ULC-S601-07
