Attachment 4 Attachment 3 Attachment 2 Attachment 1 This is a SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE to determine the availability of small businesses (e.g., 8(a), service-disabled veteran owned small business, HUBZone small business, small disadvantaged business, veteran-owned small business, and women-owned small business) under NAICS code 238310 that have the capability, experience, and capacity to provide custom Installation of Acrovyn by Design wall panels for the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Clinical Center (CC), Office of Space and Facility Management (OSFM), Pediatric Behavioral Health (Peds BH) inpatient unit, as described in the attachments 1, 2, 3 and 4. BACKGROUND The unit currently housing the Pediatric Behavioral Health (Peds BH) inpatient unit was designed as a generic inpatient unit. It needs to be updated to reflect an environment designed to support pediatric healthcare. The NIH CC is in need of a contractor who shall be able to provide the labor and materials to install custom designed Acrovyn by Design wall panels on the Peds BH unit. Government currently owns the wall panels. SCOPE The NIH Clinical Center intends to award a Purchase Order contract for Installation of custom designed Acrovyn by Design wall panels (Attachment 1). Installation shall be provided by a vendor experienced in installing Acrovyn by Design product. All installation shall be according to manufacturer's installation instruction (Attachment 2). Work must be coordinated with the panel manufacturer. The contractor shall provide all supervision, labor, materials, and equipment to complete the job and install the Acrovyn wall panels and accessories in accordance with the manufacturer's installation instructions. All materials, including adhesives and cove base will be supplied by the contractor. Vendor shall be responsible for verifying existing conditions (Attachment 3), including installed wall protection and developing an installation plan to ensure a complete installation of the new wall panels. Work will be completed in an active hospital, open 24/7. The Interim Life Safety Measures (ILSM) and Construction Risk Assessment (CRA) will be provided by the Office of Hospital Physical Environment (OHPE) must be consistently followed throughout the installation. Work must be scheduled in such a manner as to ensure public pathways are accessible on all floors where work is being conducted. All work will be preplanned and scheduled to ensure the minimum disruption to hospital patients. 1. Verify current conditions, including installed handrail and Acrovyn wall protection. 2. All personnel are to follow NIH/Joint Commission regulations, Construction Risk Assessment (CRA), Interim Life Safety Measures (ILSM) for site preparation before, during, and at the conclusion of all activities. This includes, but is not limited dust abatement and containment during preparation and installation activities. 3. Remove existing material as necessary to ensure complete installation. 4. Prepare wall as necessary. 5. Install Acrovyn by Design custom wall panels, including all custom field cuts necessary. Seal all seams. 6. Reattach handrail, as necessary. LOCATION NIH Clinical Research Center, 10 Center Drive, Bethesda, MD 20892 The government will evaluate market information to ascertain potential market capacity, experience and capability for following subject topics: 1) Describe your understanding of the requirement, providing a concise, detailed, and thorough discussion of its Installation Plan to successfully complete the services within 10 weeks taking into consideration safety, coordination, Unified Facilities Guide Specifications, OSHA, pedestrian/patient traffic, and interruptions to the hospital; 2) Describe your experience in performing the same or similar installation services working with custom designed Acrovyn panels; 3) Describe you Accident Prevention Plan. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement and any follow-up information requests. Respondents will not be notified of the results of the evaluation. All information submitted in response to this announcement must arrive on or before the closing date. Responses must be submitted to the Daytona Philpotts within 5 calendar days from the date of this synopsis. Responses shall be limited to 15 pages.
