- SOLICITATION NO: 6-Reg 7 U.S. Government seeks to lease office and related space in Houston, TX NOTICE TYPE: Sources Sought CLASSIFICATION CODE: X – Lease of rental facilities NAICS CODES: 531190—Leasing of Building Space to Federal Government by Owners SYNOPOSIS: U.S. GOVERNMENT seeks to lease the following office space through the Automated Advanced Acquisition Program (AAAP): State: Texas City: Houston Delineated Area: Northern border is FM1960 –bordered on west by Interstate 45 and interstate 59 on the east Western border is from the junction of Interstate 45 and 1960 on the north to the junction of Interstate 45 and Interstate 10 on the south Southern border is from the junction of Interstate 45 and Interstate 10 on the west to the junction of Interstate 10 and Beltway 8 on the east Eastern border is from the junction of 1960 and Interstate 59 on the north – following 59 south until the intersection of Beltway 8, following Beltway 8 south to Interstate 10. Minimum Sq. Ft. (ABOA): 1,695 Maximum Sq. Ft. (RSF): 1,949 Space Type: Office Parking Spaces (Total): 10 Parking Spaces ( Secured): 0 Parking Spaces (Unreserved): 0 Parking Spaces (Reserved): 0 Firm Term: 10 years 5 firm Option Term: HOW TO OFFER: The Automated Advanced Acquisition Program (AAAP), located at https://aaap.gsa.gov, will enable interested parties to offer space for lease to the Federal Government in response to RLP 16 – Reg 7. In addition, the Government will use its AAAP to satisfy the above space requirement. Interested parties must go to the AAAP website, select the “Register to Offer Space” link and follow the instructions to register. Instructional guides are offered in the “HELP” tab on the AAAP website. Once registered, interested parties may enter offers during the ”Open Period,” which will typically be the 1 st through 7 th of each month, ending at 11:59 PM EST on the 7 th of the month. The next Open Period is November 1, 2015 to November 20, 2015, ending at 11:59 PM EST. Lease award will be made to the lowest price, technically acceptable offer, without negotiations, based upon the RLP requirements package found on the AAAP website. During the Open Period, offerors will be permitted to submit new offers or modify existing offers. Offerors can draft an offer at any time; however, you can only submit an offer during the Open Period. The offered space must comply with RLP 16 – Reg 7 and must meet Federal Government, State, and Local jurisdiction requirements, including requirements for fire and life safety, security, accessibility, seismic, energy, and sustainability standards in accordance with the terms of the Lease.
