Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Technology Acquisition Center (TAC), located at 23 Christopher Way, Eatontown, New Jersey 07724 intends to enter into a Firm-Fixed Price contract on the basis of other than full and open competition for a Geospatial Information System (GIS) Healthcare Enterprise Service and Support Enterprise License Agreement to support the goal of creating a GIS shared services platform across the Office of the Deputy Under Secretary for Health for Policy and Services. An option for an additional copy of StreetMap mapping data is also included. The period of performance shall be December 1, 2015 through November 30, 2016, plus four option years, if exercised. VA TAC intends to award to Environmental Systems Research Institute, Inc., 380 New York Street, Redlands, CA 92373, pursuant to authority 41 U.S.C. 3304(a)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1(2) entitled, "Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements." The proposed solicitation number for this effort is VA118-16-Q-0647. The place of performance is at Veterans Health Administration, Planning Systems Support Group, 300 E. University Avenue, Suite 430, Gainesville, Florida 32601. The applicable North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this effort is 511210 with a corresponding small business size standard of $38.5M.
