Description

Description of Work Contractor shall completely prepare site for building operations, including demolition and removal of existing structures, and furnish labor and materials and perform work for the upgrades to the Nuclear Medicine suite on the third floor of Building 2 (New SPECT-CT Installation project) as required by drawings and specifications. The project includes but is not limited to the phased relocation of two existing nuclear medicine cameras (E-CAM, Symbia S) and the installation of a new Stress Room (within existing supply room) and a new a SPECT-CT scanner (lead shielded Scan Room and separate Control Room). A new rooftop, steel dunnage-mounted custom AHU, with associated new ductwork/utility piping systems must be installed to serve the project areas. The proposed Invatation for Bid (IFB) will be issued as a 100% Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Set-Aside in accordance with VAAR Clause 852.219-10. North American Industrial Classification Standard (NAICS) code 23622 applies to this. The Small Business size standard is $33.5 million. The magnitude of this construction project is between $1,000,000.00 and $2,000,000.00 Please see VAAR 852.246-75 for warranty for construction guarantee period of services.
