- VA Nebraska-Western Iowa Health Care Systems Request For Information VA Nebraska-Western Iowa Health Care System (NWI), located in Omaha, Nebraska is interested in endoscopy information management systems that include image and video capture applications for real-time information display and report generators. There are currently three procedure rooms in the gastrointestinal (GI) lab at NWI, two of which support the existing ProVation MD application. Hardware to support the system for all three rooms with separate review station hardware will be of utmost interest. This is not a solicitation for purchase, only for information to meet a potential future need to replace the existing system within NWI. The Government is requesting your comments and input for this RFI. Needs identified to date: Goal: 1.Identify Contractors who have the capability to meet the government's needs. 2.Identify the ideal system to meet the government's needs. 3.Identify & collaborate with key stakeholders to get the best situation for our GI staff. Server: 1.Identify systems with servers capable of 500 GB data storage 2.Identify systems with servers capable of data backups 3.Identify systems capable of integrating with VistA (hospital information system) and VistA Imaging (image repository) for order input and results output Hardware: 1.Identify systems capable of supporting four acquisition stations a.Identify limitations of image and video capture from various endoscopes 2.Identify systems capable of supporting four review stations 3.Identify systems capable of integrating with the Olympus CV-190 video system 4.Identify limitations to mobility, connectivity and usability Software: 1.Identify potential strengths and weaknesses of software's ability to import physician orders, generate worklists, acquire images and videos, document staff notes and send results to VistA and VistA Imaging Interested parties: 1.Provide the following information to the Contract Specialist: a.Company name b.Point of contact c.DUNS number d.Business size to the Contract Specialist. e.If you have created an endoscopy information management system in the past, please provide details and customer contact information. 2.Provide all questions/comments to Dean Flanders, dean.flanders@va.gov, by COB Nov 20, 2015.
