- DRAFT PWS for services requested. This Sources Sought Synopsis (SSS) is to support Market Research conducted by the United States Army to identify potential companies capable of fulfilling requirements delineated in the draft PWS or an indication that a contractual commitment will exist for this requirement. The government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this market research. The proposed North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code is 561612, which has a corresponding Size Standard of 1,000 employees. The Government is interested in all businesses to include: Large Businesses, Small Businesses, Small Disadvantaged Businesses 8(a)s, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses, Hubzone Businesses, and Women-Owned Small Businesses. The government requests that interested parties respond to this notice and identify pertinent information to include certification of small business status, if applicable. Additionally, provide any anticipated teaming arrangements, along with a description of similar services offered to the Government and to commercial customers for the past three years. Any responses involving teaming agreements should delineate between the work that will be accomplished by the prime, and the work accomplished by teaming partners. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES. The purpose of this SSS is to define the requirements for contractor furnished personnel and equipment to perform uninterrupted (24 hours per day: 7 Days per week; see period of performance) security guard service at Forward Operating Base Oqab and the Afghanistan Air Force Installation on HKIA Kabul International Airport). The anticipated Period of Performance (POP) for this effort begins with a 30/45/60 day phased mobilization period where not less than 50/75/100% of requirements shall be fulfilled. This mobilization period is included within a 12 month base period and two 12 month option period.
